Hi Maria, Sorry for the late reply. This is a lasertag orientated forum, which we mostly like to keep lasertag-centric. Although you can post advertisements related to lasertag in the advertisements category - I'd advise not posting other types of advertisements. Regardless, thanks very much for ask...

Re: POLL - 19 Sept. 18 - Show the Team Scores During the Ga

My gut reaction is no - but I definitely would be interesting in seeing test games done. The concept of itself is fine, and as Ibo said, maybe in a two team game - but with the 3-team factor, as a bunch of other people have said, creates a swaying of results based upon perception. Could even lead to...

Re: Food for Thought: Side Events

I think playing just side events is going to get a lot more common now that we have team cap. Especially in 2020 when the cap is reduced. I reckon we should set up the schedule to make it easier for these people, since side events can handle growth much more easily than the main event. Quoting just...

Food for Thought: Worlds Teams Selection

On Facebook, we've been having some interesting discussions pertaining to Worlds Council, Worlds Selection, etc. I've been having a bit of a ponder about Worlds Teams Selection, and I've had an idea for forming, which is dependent upon these premises. - Strong players do not necessarily have a stron...

Food for Thought: Side Events

Hi everyone, Just to promote discussion (at others' behest ;P), I decided to post an idea that likely warrants a bit more discussion regarding side events. This was originally thought of by someone (Ginny maybe?) during the Big Player Cut Off Debate of 2017 - and I thought it was an interesting idea...

wordswordswords I really don't know why you're so preoccupied with the concept of anonymity. I'd be speechless if the committee refused submissions of content due to lack of an author (as long as it met criteria - see: team cap proposal formats). Though "I'll do x if you do y" rarely seem...

So, that was definitely a decent bit to read. There's a wide variety of topics that you covered in there, so I'm going to do my best to address what I can – all from my own personal opinion. The ODT attached to the post is just an easier to read version of the below, with some bold and italics. Firs...

Re: Timing and settings moving forward with packs

As an older player ( slower reac time :) ) I liked the old system with Shot cancellation. This is my private view though... Reading through these forums, and getting other outside information... I really believe we need to set 1 standard that is set on a world wide basis. This can be adjusted by so...

Helios Timing

Something hotly debated as of late has been the timing differences of Nexus and Helios. In light of this, P&C has created an opinion poll to get a global-gauged understanding of competitive and casual opinions. Voting duration is one week. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfqqLy8r437sB3w...

Re: Game Format Ideas for Development

Hi, After a couple discussions with the marshals at our site, its been said the NexusPro for the moment sadly didnt support customisable game formats. So I've traveled to Colorado, Arizona and California. most of the places I have gone to had the Rift system and neither of my crds worked. In fact this is a bit of a problem. I wonder if you could direct me on who to talk to in the U.S. about one of my cards rejecting. It did so last year after an ...

If you want an even more effortless method, what I've done is bought about 50 plastic card holders from ebay for a couple of cents, and put a lanyard through them.

As Wraith said - location would depend for sure!

There are some decent, cheap chinese design/printing companies that have good shipping rates.
Supporting local businesses are generally a good idea too.
